TERMS OF USE

Terms of Use

Last updated: December 2026

These terms cover the guides, download links, and setup instructions on the ClashX Official Site. Review their scope and your responsibilities before downloading software or changing network settings.

1. Site Purpose and Scope

This site brings together download links, installation steps, and setup guides for ClashX, other Clash clients, and the mihomo core. The content is for educational, research, and technical reference only; it is not legal advice, a commitment to provide network services, or a guarantee that deployment will work in a particular environment. The site name, its content, and the projects featured here do not imply exclusive authorization from those projects or authority to make commitments on behalf of their maintainers.

Menu paths, ports, and configuration snippets in the guides illustrate how to perform specific tasks. The actual interface and results may vary by client version, operating system permissions, and network environment. Understand each setting before applying it, and do not copy examples directly into critical production environments.

2. Lawful Use and User Responsibilities

When using this site's resources or related software, comply with the laws and regulations where you are located and in any region affected by your actions, as well as network management requirements and the terms of any services you access. Do not use clients, configuration examples, or site materials for unlawful purposes, including unauthorized system access, data theft, distributing illegal content, or violating others' rights.

You are responsible for verifying that your network, devices, subscriptions, and servers come from lawful sources and that you have permission to access them. This site does not provide proxy nodes, subscription accounts, or authorization to access networks. Downloading a client does not grant permission to access any network resource. Obtain the appropriate administrative approval before configuring proxies on organizational devices.

Keep subscription URLs and credentials in your configuration secure. Do not include complete credentials in public feedback. Before enabling TUN, LAN sharing, or a remote control interface, check permissions, listening addresses, and firewall restrictions.

3. Software Sources and Limits of Liability

The relevant open-source projects or publishers provide their own software. Refer to each project's documentation for features, updates, security fixes, and license terms. This site organizes information and provides download links; it does not control upstream development or guarantee that software or links will remain available, work with every device, or meet a particular need.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for connection problems, service interruptions, data loss, or other damages caused by software defects, configuration errors, third-party service outages, or user actions. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited remains subject to applicable law.

Back up your current settings and note how to restore them before changing system proxies, routes, DNS, or startup items. If something goes wrong, stop and restore a known working configuration. Third-party websites and app stores have their own terms; review them separately before use.

4. Intellectual Property and Open-Source Licenses

The names, logos, source code, and release files for ClashX, the mihomo core, and other clients belong to their respective rights holders. Descriptions and references on this site do not change ownership or mean that the projects share the same license.

Before using, modifying, or redistributing software, check the license included with the relevant project and release. Meet its requirements, such as retaining copyright notices, including the license text, and, where applicable, making corresponding source code available. These terms do not replace any open-source license or grant rights to use trademarks.

When quoting original guides from this site, credit the source and do not remove qualifications or risk notices that affect their technical meaning. Quoted third-party materials remain subject to their original license terms.

5. Changes to These Terms and Help

These terms may be revised to reflect content updates, project changes, or legal requirements. Revisions will be posted on this page, and the last-updated month at the top will be changed. They apply to subsequent use from the date of publication, unless applicable law provides otherwise. Check the current terms before downloading or using these materials again.

For installation, subscription import, or connection issues, start with the Help Center and tutorials, and follow the troubleshooting steps. When reporting an issue, share only the necessary system details, client name, and redacted error message. For software license interpretations and project matters, refer to information published by the relevant rights holder.
